The Story

PREMIUM SANDING SPONGE FOR WOOD

Our Maverick Abrasives sanding sponge is a premium, heat treated aluminum oxide grain on a durable, long lasting sponge! These sanding blocks are 2-3/4 X 3-3/4" X 1" thick. Additionally these are 4 sided sponges with 2 sides being one grit, and the other two sides being another grit. We carry these sponges in a Coarse & Medium as well as a Medium & Fine. These sponges are made for woodworking & fine cabinetry, although they can certainly be used on metal as well if you desire!

What materials can you sand with sanding sponges?

While sanding sponges are generally used to sand wood such as cabinetry, fine furniture, and various other fine wood projects, sanding sponges can also be used to sand drywall, metal such as stainless, aluminum and even steel!
